Pankaj Bajaj, Managing Director, EIPL

               Mr. Pankaj Bajaj is the Managing director of EIPL (Eldeco Infrastructure and Properties Ltd.) and EHIL (Eldeco Housing And Industries Ltd.). He is also the honorary president of CREDIA  (Confederation of Real-Estate Developer’s Association of India) NCR. Mr. Pankaj Bajaj is a graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce Delhi and has pursued his post graduation from Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad. He has a massive work experience of more than 10 years in the construction and real estate sector and has handled more than 200 projects himself all of them have varied in class and sizes, however he has undertaken all of them in a very efficient way. He joined the Eldeco group in 1996 and since then Eldeco has never looked back and has reached a status now where it is a leading name in real estate development in the entire North India. He is not just the managing director but also the founder of EldecoInfrastructure and Properties Ltd. which he established in the year 2000 under the chairmanship of Mr. S K Garg. Mr. Pankaj Bajaj’s primary objective of establishing EIPL was to have projects in the NCR of Delhi in which was achieved by him in a very short span of time.





            Mr. Pankaj Bajaj has been a born leader and has managed to integrate his experience, knowledge as well as skill set to groom himself to a wonderful manager. It was because of these qualities and achievements of Mr. Pankaj that in the year 2011 he was elected as the President of CREDIA (Confederation of Real-Estate Developer’s Association of India) the apex body for private real estate developers in India which consists of 18 member associations throughout India and more than 6000 developers. CREDIA is an association which works as a link between the government and private developers. Mr. Pankaj Bajaj has made efforts in making the processes more transparent for government policies and the development processes. His efforts have transformed Eldeco big time and taken it to new heights so much so that Harvard Business School has taken up this transformation as a case study for its students.


           The Eldeco group being run by Mr Pankaj Bajaj has run more than 175 construction and real-estate projects and is currently working on 30 new projects. These projects are in Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Sonepat, Panipat, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Lucknow, Kanpur, Panchkula and Sitarganj with the group having a presence in all the major real estate classes - multi storey group housing, residential townships, shopping malls, industrial parks, SEZs and office buildings. 





           Mr. Pankaj Bajaj in an interview spoke on the main objectives and focus areas of CREDIA in the coming years such as Better transparency between the Developers and the Customers, enhanced Credibility of Real Estate Sector, Conservation of Scarce resources, Provision of single window clearance in association with the Government of India, Reduction of taxation burden on the real estate sector, Provision for more jobs for the needy section of the Society, Provision of affordable housing for the Common Man, Implementation of Environmental norms etc.
